Tissue Engineering and Cellular Reprogramming The core provides consultation, equipment, facilities and technical support for the generation and reprogramming of a wide range of viable embryonic and neural cell types in culture and in vivo and the analysis of integrative cellular, molecular and functional properties generated from these experimental paradigms. The core houses 2 six-foot and 1 four-foot Edgegard TC Laminar Flow Hoods, 2 Steril Gard III Biosafety Hoods, P2 facility, an EMS OTS-4000 Vibratome and 12 Forma Scientific Water Jacketed Tissue Culture Incubators equipped with separate O2, CO2, N2 and additional gaseous mixture and temperature controls to support these services. Services Access the Services In vitro dissociated cell culture, slice and organotypic and whole embryo cultures Embryonic stem (ES) cell experimental applications Viral vector cellular manipulations for in vitro and in vivo applications Human fetal cell experimentation Fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS) for analytical and preparative experimental approaches Quantitative analysis of gene expression Related Shared Facilities no-related-facilities Center Affiliations Rose F.
