Movies

These movies provide some background information regarding Dictyostelium, S. cerevisiae, and tumor cell polarization responses.  For our more recent work on tumor cell chemotaxis and invasion, please check out the Movies from Papers section.  The movies made here were acquired at the Einstein Analytical Imaging Facility

  1. The movies shown here are either avi or Quicktime movies.  Your browser may require a Quicktime plugin before being able to display these files.
  2. For the best image quality, Macintosh computer monitors should be set on thousands of colors, Windows computers should be set at 16 bit or 32 bit color.  The images will be suboptimal if viewed with monitors set to 256 colors.
  3. Please note, in order to keep reasonable image quality, these files are typically 1 - 2 megabytes in size.  A direct Ethernet connection is recommended in order to speed up the download time.  (As a historical note, using a modem, a 50 kps modem will require about 5 minutes to download 1 Mb, depending on the server).
