UPCOMING EVENTS

Human resources is offering the following programs to staff and faculty members:

Mum's the Word On Tuesday, December 20, 2011, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., staff and faculty members with supervisory roles can take part in "Protecting Confidentiality and Privacy: The Manager’s Role." The program, which will cover topics such as the legal mandates behind confidentiality, how to handle requests for information and how to store, secure and ensure the privacy of student, faculty and staff's personally identifying information, will be offered at the Jack & Pearl Resnick Campus, in Belfer 806.

 

Better Understanding — On Thursday, December 22, 2011, from 10 to 11:15 a.m., at the Wilf Campus, staff members can learn about “Understanding the Performance Management Process and Writing SMART Goals.” The introductory program will educate attendees about why Yeshiva University conducts performance reviews; the appraisal process; employee and management core performance competencies and definitions; rating criteria; guidance on writing meaningful and impactful SMART goals; and available resources.
