CBS’ The Early Show interviews Sheryl Haut, M.D., about a patient at the Comprehensive Epilepsy Center of the Department of Neurology at Einstein and Montefiore Medical Center whose nocturnal seizures she successfully treated with surgery. The patient, Danny Jakubowitz, explains how drastically his life has improved since the surgery, which eliminated the seizures that robbed him of a full night’s sleep for 21 years. Dr. Haut is associate professor of clinical neurology in The Saul R. Korey Department of Neurology at Einstein and a neurologist specializing in adult care at Montefiore.
