Please join us as we officially celebrate with the mentors and PhD & MD/PhD students who have just declared their labs and started their thesis research.
First year graduate students at Einstein are responsible for beginning their coursework as well as completing three laboratory rotations. These laboratory rotations allow students to explore their particular research interests while taking advantage of the breadth of science available to them. At the end of the first year, each student is asked to declare the laboratory of his or her choice. The laboratory they choose is where they will do their thesis research culminating in the PhD.
