Nine members of the Department of Medicine faculty will be elected to membership in the Leo M. Davidoff Society this year.
Drs. Matthew Abramowitz, Danit Arad, Julia Arnsten, Irene Blanco, James Brust, Colin Cha Fong, Mimoza Meholli, Belinda Ostrowsky, and Sidney Stein will be presented with this distinguished award at the Education Awards Reception, Thursday, May 14, 2015 in the Lubin Dining Hall.
Dr. Leo Davidoff (1898-1975) was a professor, associate dean, and chairman of the departments of surgery and neurological surgery during his tenure at Einstein. The Leo M. Davidoff Society was founded in 1976 to honor this respected and beloved teacher. Membership in the Davidoff Society recognizes distinguished, caring and committed teaching of medical students at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
