Kevin Hauck, MDKevin Hauck, MD, MPH, Chief Resident of Firm 3 in the Montefiore Einstein Internal Medicine Residency Program, has been accepted to the Harvard Macy Program for Post-Graduate Trainees, a three-day intensive development program for postgraduate trainees who seek to enhance their skills and scholarship as future academic clinician-educators.
The course is geared toward residents and fellows who are strongly committed to a career in academic medical education. As a participant, Dr. Hauck will pursue a focused medical education project with support from a faculty mentor at Montefiore Einstein. The faculty mentor will serve a critical role in the implementation and success of the program at Montefiore Einstein.
Dr. Hauck, who was previously featured in a video interview about the Residency Program's patient-centered medical home rotation, will attend the course December 6–8, 2014 at the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions (MGH IHP).
