Physician Awards Each year since 2016, four outstanding Department of Medicine physicians are honored for their unique contributions to the medical profession. In 2021, the Department honored all of its physicians who participated in the Covid-19 pandemic, bestowing upon each of them the “Covid-19 Distinguished Service Award.” The Department also honored Yaron Tomer, MD, Chair with a Leadership Award.
