BRONX, NY - November 26, 2014 - The Montefiore Einstein Division of Gastroenterology & Liver Diseases faculty were well represented at the 65th Annual Meeting of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD), held November 7-11, 2014 at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, MA.

Drs. Mark J. Czaja, Sanjeev Gupta, Jayanta Roy-Chowdhury, Allan Wolkoff and Paul Gaglio were honored as members of the first inaugural AASLD Fellows class of 2014.

Dr. Muhammad Amir (Mentor: Dr. Mark Czaja) received of the 2014 AASLD Emerging Liver Scholar Award.

Dr. Preeti Viswanathan (Mentor: Dr. Sanjeev Gupta) received the 2014 AASLD Pediatric Research Award.
