Montefiore Einstein’s full-time echocardiography staff—4 board-certified cardiologists, 15 ARDMS-certified technicians, and 4 registered nurses—provide the highest standard of care and respect for patients’ comfort, knowledge, and privacy. In most cases, test results are reported to physicians within hours.
Each full-time echocardiography specialist is an Albert Einstein College of Medicine faculty member, board-certified in treating cardiovascular disease from the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) and the National Board of Echocardiography (NBE), with level III qualification to perform and interpret all echocardiographic procedures.
