In addition to assigned readings, fellows have access to educational resources available throughout the rotation, as well as ASE website PowerPoint presentations on normal echo and selected topics.
Educational resources available throughout the rotation include the following:
- regularly scheduled didactic conferences
- cardiology grand rounds
- medical grand rounds
- medical libraries at Montefiore and Albert Einstein College of Medicine, including online access to a wide array of medical journals and texts
- hospital intranet with free access to various medical and pharmacologic references (e.g., UptoDate and Micromedex)
- major cardiovascular textbooks available in the division office for fellows’ use
- full Internet access
