Resnick Gerontology Center

Overview

The Albert Einstein Jack and Pearl Resnick Gerontology Center advances aging research, interdepartmental collaboration, and education and training for improved care of older adults. The Center is also committed to preparing and supporting women interested in a career in gerontology.

The Albert Einstein Jack and Pearl Resnick Gerontology Center:

  • advances aging research among Einstein clinical investigators and basic scientists 
  • prepare and support women students and faculty – particularly women from populations that are underrepresented in science (https://www.nsf.gov/statistics/women/) – for a career in aging research 
  • promotes interdepartmental collaboration regarding aging-related endeavors 
  • enhances education and training related to the care of older adults at Einstein hospitals and outpatient clinics
