Overview Welcome to the Office of Student Finance at Albert Einstein College of Medicine! In spring 2024, we announced Einstein will cover tuition and fees for all medical students thanks to a transformational gift from Dr. Ruth L. Gottesman. The David S. and Ruth L. Gottesman Scholarship Fund ensures that these costs will be covered for all medical students beginning in August 2024. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is not required to receive the Gottesman Scholarship, but we encourage students to fill it out. We recognize that many students may still need help with other living expenses, and a completed FAFSA is required to receive federal aid. This historic gift — the largest made to any medical school in the country — ensures that no student at Einstein will pay tuition again. Watch Video Video Archive Financial Aid Although expenses at Albert Einstein College of Medicine will vary from student to student, the college bases its decisions regarding awarding financial aid on student eligibility for Federal Aid and cost-of-attendance estimates, or “budgets.” Students are assigned a budget based on their academic program and class level.
