Rubin Lab Methods Book

Original Preface

This book contains a compendium of protocols currently in use in our laboratory, and is an update of our previous methods book. Many of these methods did not originate in this laboratory, but were obtained from other groups and are presented with little or no modification. We hope that by collecting them in one volume, we will be providing a useful service to other Drosophila groups. We would be grateful for any corrections or suggested modifications to the protocols. Please feel free to copy and distribute this manual as you wish. The Rubin Lab

About this online edition

This HTML files was exported from the original files using Wordperfect 3.5 and BBEdit Lite on a Power Macintosh G4. The typeface is up to the reader to choose.

This was done by David Tyler and Ari Hobfoll in the Baker Lab. Any original mistakes were preserved in the conversion process, and a lot of new ones introduced — especially where special characters such as superscripts and Greek letters are involved.
