Dr. Penny Steiner-Grossman is Associate Professor of Family and Social Medicine and of Pediatrics and a former Assistant Dean in the Office of Medical Education. Together with the Executive Dean, she coordinates the College’s efforts to secure independent accreditation by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). Other major responsibilities include the mentoring of Einstein faculty in preparing for academic promotion and providing editorial assistance to the Office of Student Affairs.
She recently played a major role in Einstein’s self-study process leading to the re-accreditation of Einstein’s medical education program by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME)
