Dr. Amy Kranzler is a licensed clinical psychologist at the Adult Outpatient Psychiatry Department at Montefiore Medical Center Moses Division where she specializes in the treatment of anxiety and mood disorders. She also specializes in working with emerging adults and is a co-developer of the Becoming an Emerging Adult at Montefiore (BEAM) program. In addition, Dr. Kranzler directs the Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) program at the Moses AOPD. Dr. Kranzler received her Ph.D. from Rutgers University, completed her internship at Montefiore Medical Center and her postdoctoral training at the Columbia University Clinic for Anxiety and Related Disorders (CUCARD). Her areas of clinical and research expertise also include nonsuicidal self injury (NSSI) and suicide, emotion dysregulation, and emerging adulthood. Dr. Kranzler has published her research in numerous peer-reviewed journals and has presented her work at national and international conferences.
