I am a cardiothoracic radiologist (specializing in CT and MRI of the heart and lungs). I am involved in multi-disciplinary imaging research and am a clinical / research mentor for medical students and residents. I practice primarily at the Moses division of Montefiore Medical Center.
My research focus is clinical outcomes trials in cardiothoracic imaging. I am currently the principal investigator of a single-center randomized controlled trial comparing coronary computed tomography angiography and stress radionuclide myocardial perfusion in patients admitted with chest pain (PROSPECT).
As associate director of research for our Department, I have a role in educating residents and staff in study methodology and in facilitating research endeavors involving Radiology.
