Dr. Hsu’s main research efforts focus on improving outcomes in children and young adults with congenital heart disease and acquired heart diseases of childhood. She has published extensively in the fields of pediatric cardiomyopathy and pediatric heart transplantation. She has conducted outcomes research in drug therapies in the treatmen of pediatric heart failure. She also has a strong interest in the emerging field of adult congenital heart disease. She has served in leadership positions in the American Heart Association, American College of Cardiology, International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation, American Academy of Pediatrics, American Board of Pediatrics and is a member of the American Pediatric Society.
