Commencement Ceremony
Einstein's 66th commencement ceremony will be held at the David Geffen Hall at Lincoln Center on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at 3:00 p.m.

Class of 2024 Portraits - Glass Cafe
Commemorate your graduation with a formal portrait! Portrait sessions for the class of 2024 take place on campus with the average appointment lasting 15 minutes.

Match Day is the prelude to commencement season and an exciting day in your medical career.

Deadline to Request Commencement Ceremony Tickets
All students will be given up to eight (8) complimentary commencement guest tickets. You must submit your Application for Graduation in order to request your guest tickets. Please complete and submit your Application for Graduation by Monday, April 1, 2024.

Commencement Rehearsal – Robbins Auditorium
If you plan to participate in the commencement ceremony, we recommend that you attend rehearsal. The office of student life will review arrival instructions for David Geffen Hall, how to wear your regalia, where to line up, how to be robed during the commencement exercises, and much more. Please adjust your schedules accordingly to ensure you can attend.
Distribution of Cap, Gown, Hood(s), Certificate of Appreciation, Tickets, & Yearbook
When you check in for commencement rehearsal via the Glass Café, you will be able to pick up your cap, gown, hood(s), certificate of appreciation, tickets, and yearbook. Can’t attend? Please contact the office of student life to make other arrangements.

Alumni Commencement Luncheon
Join your fellow graduates and the office of alumni relations and development for a special commencement luncheon in Lubin Dining Hall.
Class Photo and Group Portraits
Following commencement rehearsal, you will don your academic attire for a traditional class photo along the rock ledge outside of Robbins Auditorium, below the Glass Café. To schedule group portraits, one person within your group will need to book an appointment online. Group portraits are limited to 8 people. Please come camera-ready!

M.D. Class of 2024 Toast and Reception – Greentree Country Club
Tonight, will be the celebration you have been waiting for—your Graduation Toast and Reception! You and a guest are cordially invited to a fabulous evening! Roundtrip transportation will be provided.

The Ph.D. convocation ceremony, for candidates in Einstein’s graduate program, honors the accomplishments of Ph.D. and M.D./Ph.D. students from the College of Medicine and the faculty mentors who have guided you through your challenging journey.

Today’s your big day! Be sure to arrive on time—by no later than 1:45 p.m.—to check in with your respective program, don your attire, and line up to march. Your “ticket” to gain entry at David Geffen Hall will be your cap, gown, and hood(s), so please bring those with you!
