Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences offers a wide-range of expert general and sub-specialty clinical evaluation and treatment services at our primary Montefiore Medical Center sites. These include adult and child outpatient psychiatric programs on the Moses and Wakefield Campuses and at the Montefiore Behavioral Health Center; addiction Services at the Division of Substance Abuse, Substance Abuse Treatment Program and Wakefield Recovery Center locations; inpatient psychiatry, consult-liaison psychiatry, and emergency psychiatry services across our campuses; and integrated mental health services in multiple settings including the Montefiore School Based Mental Health Program, the Montefiore Medical Group practices, the Children’s Evaluation and Research Center (CERC), the J.E. and Z.B. Butler Center for Children and Families, and the Cancer Center. Members of our faculty also have teaching roles at the Bronx Psychiatric Center, New York City Children’s Center-Bronx Campus, Jacobi Hospital, North Central Bronx Hospital, and Four Winds Hospital.
