Areas of Research: My lab studies visual processing, with a focus on issues of rapid cortical plasticity, population coding, and inter-areal communication. We use neurophysiological, computational and behavioral methods in our work.

Areas of Research: We study single mRNA molecules from cradle to grave in single living cells using high resolution imaging. We develop trafficking microscopy and approaches to image RNA using fluorescent probes to visualize and quantify mRNA.
