Howard Geyer, MD, PhD Neurologist
Dr. Howard Geyer is Director, Division of Movement Disorders, Montefiore, and Assistant Professor, Neurology, Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He received his MD and PhD degrees from the University of Pennsylvania. He was chief resident in Neurology at Montefiore, where he also completed a fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology. He completed an additional fellowship in Movement Disorders at Beth Israel Medical Center. Dr. Geyer regularly lectures and contributes to book chapters and journal articles on a variety of neurologic topics.

Dan Antoniello, MD--Neurologist
Dr. Dan Antoniello is a board-certified stroke neurologist and behavioral neurologist.
He completed his vascular neurology training at Columbia University, and cognitive neurology at the University of Florida. Dr. Antoniello specializes in the clinical care of stroke patients and disorders of cognition. Dr. Antoniello is a dedicated clinician-educator who has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and presents his work nationally.

David Masur, PhD, ABPP--Neuropsychology
Dr. David Masuris a board-certified neuropsychologist who is Director of Neuropsychology in the Department of Neurology at Montefiore. He has 25 years of experience in the evaluation of children and adults for diagnostic and forensic issues. In addition to private practice, Dr. Masur is a Clinical Professor, Neurology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Professor, Psychology at the Ferkauf Graduate School of Yeshiva University. He lectures on topics in neuropsychology to both physicians and graduate students. Dr. Masur has published manuscripts in areas ranging from epilepsy to dementia, and is currently a co-investigator on two NIH-funded projects involving the relationship between epilepsy and cognitive disorders.

Roee Holtzer, PhD--Neuropsychology
Dr. Roee Holtzer is an Associate Professor of Psychology at the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology and Neurology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University. He holds an MA and a PhD degree from the State University of New York at Binghamton. Dr. Holtzer completed his internship training in clinical psychology at the Rusk Institute of New York University. He also completed a T-32 post-doctoral fellowship in neuropsychology and cognition in aging at the cognitive neuroscience division of the Sergievsky Center of Columbia University Medical Center. Dr. Holtzer is director of the Clinical Psychology with Health Emphasis PhD program at Yeshiva University. He is a recipient of the Beeson Award from the National Institute on Aging. He serves as PI and investigator on a number of NIH, foundation and industry grants. Dr. Holtzer’s current research utilizes a multi-level, theory-driven method integrating clinical, cognitive neuroscience and genetic approaches to identify predictors of mobility decline and disability in aging.

Huma Naqvi, MD - Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
Dr. Huma Naqvi is Assistant Professor,Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and also serves as Director Geriatric/Sub-acute-Rehabilitation. She is actively involved in resident and fellow teaching and training. Dr. Naqvi is certified in wound care and acupuncture for pain management. In addition, she serves the older adult population for pain and functional-related issues.
Her research interests are electrical stimulation for wound care and global health initiatives.Dr. Navqui received grant funding for her global health project in Bagdad/Iraq. She travels to Iraq to educate and train physicians and therapists on new rehabilitation techniques and interventions.

John J. McGinley, PhD - Neuropsychology
Dr. John McGinley is an Assistant Professor in Neurology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, as well as a Licensed Psychologist/Clinical Neuropsychologist in the Department of Neurology at Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. McGinley completed his clinical psychology internship in adult and pediatrics at St. Charles Hospital and Rehabilitation Center on Long Island and earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Health Psychology at The Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, Yeshiva University where he serves as an annual guest lecturer on the topics of Epilepsy and Symptom Validity Testing. Dr. McGinley is a member of Montefiore’s Epilepsy Management Center and now the Center for the Aging Brain. He serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Gerontology: Medical Sciences and mentors Ferkauf and Einstein students with submissions to national conferences.

Erica F. Weiss, PhD - Neuropsychology
Dr. Erica Weiss is an active member of the Division of Neuropsychology, Department of Neurology, Montefiore Medical Center and is an Instructor, Neurology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology with a Health Emphasis with a minor in Neuropsychology from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University. Dr. Weiss completed her internship and fellowship training in Neuropsychology at Montefiore Medical Center where she continues to conduct neuropsychological evaluations of children and adults with various medical and neurological disorders. Her research interests include cognitive correlates of childhood epilepsy, and neuropsychological functioning in healthy aging. She is involved in two NINDS-funded projects looking at childhood epilepsies and cognition, and an NIA-funded project evaluating the relationship between genetics and cognitive outcomes of individuals with exceptional longevity.

Teresa Santos, LCSW, MSW- Clinical Social Worker – Care Coordinator for the Memory Disorders Center.
Ms. Santos completed her undergraduate work at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY, where she majored in Social Work, graduating with Summa Cum Laude distinction. She went on to attain the Masters in Social Work from Fordham University’s Graduate School of Social Sciences. Ms. Santos is bilingual (English/Spanish) and certified in Medical Interpretation. She has trained in Forensic Interviewing with the FBI and the National C.A.C., the Psycho-Medical Intervention Model (a SAMHSA recognized evidence based model for behavior change), and in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) with Dr. Alec Miller, PsyD. Since joining Montefiore Medical Center in 2008, areas of practice have ranged from child physical/sexual abuse, HIV/AIDS, utilization and case management (including the Pioneer ACO and Health Homes initiatives). Most recently, she attained certification from the Alzheimer’s Association in Dementia Basics & Advanced Care and is currently the Care Coordinator for the Memory Disorders Center under the Fan Fox & Leslie R. Samuels Foundation, Inc. grant.

Mirnova E. Ceïde, MD
Dr. Ceïde is currently an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Division of Geriatric Psychiatry and Medicine, Division of Geriatrics at Montefiore Medical Center. She received her M.D. from Penn State University College of Medicine, in May 2007. She holds board certifications from the Board Certified in Geriatric Psychiatry, Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry and New York State License. Dr. Ceïde has co-authored in several publications and actively participating in research initiatives.
