Dermatopathology Fellowship Program

The Dermatopathology Fellowship Training Program is a one-year, ACGME-approved fellowship providing an outstanding clinical training experience with a faculty rich in experience in the clinical practice of dermatopathology, clinical dermatology, and anatomic pathology and with a high volume of clinical material obtained both from hospital-based and practice- or outpatient-based dermatology. Fellows rotate through the departments of dermatopathology and dermatology at Montefiore Einstein and through our affiliated institution, Bridge Dermatopathology Services. There is opportunity for extensive experience in all aspects of dermatopathology: clinical, academic research, immunofluorescence, immunoperoxidase and molecular pathology.

Graduates of this program are trained to be excellent clinical dermatopathologists who should secure positions in either academic institutions or private practice dermatopathology laboratories.

Requirements

Applicants must be eligible for AP or AP/CP Board certification or Dermatology Board certification.

Appointment is for one year. Salary based on schedule for residents.
