Resources & Core Laboratories

Clinical Looking Glass
Clinical Looking Glass (CLG) provides an electronic medical record for each patient and works with other health information systems to provide complete information for ordering prescription drugs and tests and for reporting the results.

Institute for Clinical and Translational Research
The Harold and Muriel Block Institute for Clinical and Translational Research at Einstein and Montefiore (ICTR) promotes multidisciplinary collaboration; addresses translational "blocks" in research; provides infrastructure and collaborative support; and enhances training, education, and career development as part of the CTSA consortium. The ICTR re-engineers clinical and translational research, reorganizes research facilities, transforms training and educational programs, and expands the cadre of young investigators.

Biorepository
The Einstein Biorepository, maintained by the ICTR, provides banking for biological fluid and tissue specimens as well as human subject derived material such as DNA and RNA.

Analytic Core Laboratory
The Einstein Analytic Core Laboratory provides sample/DNA processing, lipids and metabolic intermediate analysis, stable isotope dilution assays, fatty acid flux (GC/MS), and triglyceride turnover (GC/MS).
