Medical Student Education Core Clerkship in Family Medicine The Clerkship in Family Medicine is a required clerkship for all students of Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Students learn to recognize and treat a broad array of common medical problems; manage acute and chronic medical conditions; foster health promotion and practice preventive medicine; form therapeutic alliances with patients and develop treatment plans; and place illness in the context of the whole patient.
