Office of the Chairman Welcome to the website of the Department of Epidemiology and Population Health. The department is home to more than 50 primary faculty organized into four divisions whose members have expertise and active research programs in areas such as epidemiology, biostatistics, nutrition, behavioral science, and bioethics. Departmental faculty are highly collaborative and work with other investigators locally, nationally, and internationally, thereby creating a very rich and stimulating research environment. In addition to research, departmental faculty are also involved in graduate education, including the Clinical Research Training Program, which provides instruction to the next generation of clinical researchers, and the Master’s in Bioethics, which attracts students from a wide range of disciplines.
