The overall goal of the TIMC is to facilitates research that addresses the prevention and control of diabetes using a social-ecological approach to address the dynamic interrelations of biological, psychological and social factor at a personal and environmental level. The TIMC supports translation research that is theory driven and uses rigorous evaluation methods to inform wider dissemination and to advance behavioral science related to diabetes prevention and control.
