Analytical Imaging Facility The Analytical Imaging Facility (AIF) provides state of the art methods in modern light and electron microscopy imaging to biomedical scientists with all levels of expertise at both Einstein and other research institutions. The AIF is an equipment resource for trained microscopists and offers a completely assisted technical support service for infrequent users, on a fee-for-service basis to the center. The AIF also makes technologies developed in the IL available to the research community. The AIF supports widefield microscopy optimized for live cell imaging, point scanning multiphoton and confocal microscopy, digital whole slide scanning, super-resolution microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy and cryo electron microscopy.
