Writing Internship Application

Dear Applicant:

You will have a half-hour (30 minutes) to complete this application form. Before you get started, please make sure you have the following handy, since you will need them to complete the application form.

Name/contact information for your mentor, including phone, e-mail and location
Your education information
Information regarding your experience and interests, particularly relevant writing experience (up to 100 words)
Personal statement explaining your interest in the writing internship (up to 200 words)
A writing sample, in lay language (not scientific writing)

Graduate students: Please also be aware that, if accepted to the internship, you will need to complete and submit a Request for Co-curricular Activity Form to the graduate office before you can begin your internship
